What we believe
Sunshine
We believe in childhoods lived outside — sandy feet, salty hair, endless exploring — with products that protect their precious skin while helping families embrace the sunshine with confidence, not compromise.
Hi, I'm
I'm a Queensland mum of two energetic boys who love being outside - and the founder of Sun Cub Co.
Growing up under the Aussie sun, I had my own struggles with sun protection — I was allergic to most sunscreens.
They left my skin irritated and uncomfortable, so most of the time it felt easier to go without. As we now know, that’s one of the worst things you can do.
When I became a mum, I was determined to make sun protection simple, gentle, and stress-free for my boys.
But no matter how hard I searched, I couldn’t find a sunscreen that ticked every box — one that felt right on their skin and that they actually liked using.
The daily wrestle with wriggly toddlers? It was real.
I wanted something that felt fun — so my boys didn’t resist it.
Something they could enjoy every day.
Something that turned “Come here for sunscreen!” into a moment of connection instead of a battle.
But most importantly, I wanted something gentle and clean for their skin — so parents didn’t have to second-guess what they were putting on their little ones.
Because when it’s simple, safe, and actually enjoyable, it becomes part of everyday life.
And that’s how lifelong sun-safe habits are built
So I created Sun Cub — made by a mum, for families who love the outdoors as much as we do.
Born under the Aussie sun ☀️
Made for little explorers 💛
